GLOBAL RESEACH & MEETINGS

Cilia around the world

To gain a deeper understanding of how cilia function, it is essential to establish a global network that brings together experts in the field. This is why our research unit is committed to strengthening collaborations with cilia specialists worldwide. By doing so, our students will have the opportunity to benefit from the expertise of other labs, broadening their knowledge and enhancing their research experience.

UK Cilia Network

The UK Cilia Network brings together researchers and clinicians working on structure and function of motile and primary cilia and centrosomes. This informal multidisciplinary group aims to foster collaboration and sharing of expertise in order to further understanding of these organelles and their role in development, ageing, health and disease. The network currently has over 250 members from more than 30 UK academic institutions.
